Day 123: Terrorism

Today, I’d like to remember some victims of recent terrorist attacks.

Richard Collins III was an ROTC student at Bowie State University when he was stabbed to death by a terrorist on the campus of the University of Maryland. A modern day lynching by a terrorist for nothing other than the color of his skin.

A suicide bomber attacked an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England last night, killing over 20 and wounding over 50. Many of the victims were children. A vicious and stupid assault in the name of nothing.

There are countless others, victims of senseless violence that we are capable of preventing. They are our sons, our daughters, our future and we need to do our utmost to protect them.

But right now we need to honor and never forget the lives they lived. Please keep them and their families in your thoughts.
